Shawn Mendes is back and with a stronger tour than before. The award-winning singer and songwriter will return to Bangkok, Thailand performing at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani promoters Live Nation, and BEC Tero recently announced.
Shawn Mendes More Than One Step Beyond Social Media
Born on August 8th, 1998 in Canada, Shawn Peter Paul is a world renown singer and songwriter. He first started his music career covering favourite songs and posting on social media in 2013. Island Records label A&R manager Ziggy Chareton and artist manager Andrew Gertler discovered Shawn’s work. His climb to stardom came shortly after with an EP and solo debut album release named ‘Handwritten’. Singles from the album reaching the top 10 charts in Canada and the US. Also, scored a number 1 hit in the UK.
Shawn Mendes Is Most Influential Teen ‘Time Magazine’
Starting off as the opening act for none other than Taylor Swift as part of her world tour dates for North America. He then went on to collaborate with Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello releasing a single entitled ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’. Shawn was also listed by Time Magazine as The 25 Most Influential Teens in the year 2014. Camilla Cabello is the opening act for most of his American tour dates. It is not clear if she will join also for the Asian dates.

The tour is the Canadian singer’s third concert in support of this self-titled third studio album. The tour kicked off in Amsterdam and is scheduled for a final performance in Mexico. With over 100 performances on four continents, he is proving that he is at the top of his game and has massive amounts of fans across the globe. Starting in Europe before heading over to North and South America. Then to the opposite side of the world to Australia and coming to Asia.
