Thailand Festivals 2023
The Monkey Buffet Festival, 2023 in Lopburi, is celebrated every year on the last Saturday and Sunday of November. The festival is a giant fruit buffer for the local monkeys that frequent the local temples. Over 3,000 long-tail macaque monkeys are living. This festival is a way to give them something special. The feeding will take place across the two temples over two days. Folks believe feeding them brings good luck to the area. Monkeys have long been among Thailand’s most famous animals and are prevalent at many temples across the Kingdom. Attending the Lopburi Festival is a great way to get close to the monkeys while giving back to wildlife.

It is the ideal festival to visit to get away from the city for a weekend. There will be massive tables at the two temples with a vast selection of fresh fruits for the thousands of monkeys in the region.
