Glow Club is Bangkok’s longest running house and techno venue. Tucked away down a small alley close to Asoke, the compact space welcomes a roster of both local and international DJs – with most events here held across the weekend. The legendary underground club is equipped with the latest Funktion One sound system (the one place in Bangkok that does), which makes those beats sound all the better. Glow also runs several monthly parties which take in a broader range of musical genres such as drum and bass, garage and dub – but most nights it’s all about the house and techno. Don’t expect things to get busy at Glow until past midnight; those coming early can chill out on the second-level where there are sofas and the music isn’t as loud. Downstairs, the small bar is a good place to socialize before the adjacent dance floor fills up. Nights here have been know to run until the early hours of the morning, but again, it varies on the night. Entrance on regular nights is around 250 baht, which includes a free drink upon entrance, while special nights (such as the occasional big-name DJ event) might cost you a little bit more.

Find Glow club on Sukhumvit Soi 33, a short taxi or motorbike drive away from the main Sukhumvit Road. Those arriving by public transport should get off the BTS at Asoke Station or MRT at the nearby Sukhumvit stop. From there, it is around five minutes.
