Thai COVID-19 Lockdown for 5 Provinces [VIDEO]

The Thai COVID-19 lockdown news is now coming thick and fast. In the past three weeks, we have gone from hardly any cases to a massive surge in some people getting the COVID flu. The solution? Locking down 5 more provinces! And rightfully so, many believe!

The likes of Chon Buri province was already suffering a lockdown issued a couple of days ago from now until 31 January. But now we have more provinces added to the Thai COVID-19 lockdown list: Rayong, Samut Sakhon, Trat, and Chanthaburi.

Thai COVID-19 Lockdown Enforced

The Thai PBS news website was one of the first to react to the news that 5 provinces are now on lockdown. The website also stated that the Deputy Public Health Minister, SaTit Putacha, has praised the ‘Thai PM’ Prayut-O-Cha on his fantastic and undoubted leadership qualities and agreeing to lock people down. You know how dangerous group gatherings can be… especially for COVID of course! It’s nice to see that he is taking people’s safety into account!

The lockdown has been ‘implemented’ to curb the escalation of the flu. We are reaching fever pitch (excuse the pun) now that a grand total of 54 new COVID flu cases across those 5 provinces have been reported. We really are being blasted by this all-encompassing ‘pandemic’. Thank god we have such a smart and quick-acting government to ensure this flu doesn’t reach more than 54 people. COVID has already fatally attacked the economy and small businesses and now a few dozens more people are under threat. And with the worldwide COVID average survival rate of 99.7%, it could become perilous if we don’t ‘double bag’.

Thai COVID-19 Lockdown News

The latest Thai COVID-19 lockdown has seen people being ‘encouraged’ to wear masks, especially when sitting alone in cars by themselves. That’s the most dangerous time. Multinational corporations such as Seven-11 and Tesco are closing from 10 pm at night until 5 am every morning, which will dramatically affect their profit margins. It’s those multinational companies I really feel sorry for and worry about.

Restaurants are being asked to only allow takeaway business. Oh wait a minute, that changed the day later and restaurants are now allowed to open normally while adhering to social distancing protocols. But no alcohol. COVID loves to attach itself to alcohol drinkers of course.

The new lockdowns have also affected Bangkok, which is now also under ‘tough restrictions’. Attractions such as the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha have closed until 31 January 2021 in order to curb this uber-dangerous possibly-maybe ‘civilization-ending’ fever. Travel has not yet been banned in the city, but give it time. We have to adapt to the ‘NEW NORMAL’.

Thailand COVID-19 Future?

It’s great to know the government is such a caring organization. With such pro-active leaders at the helm, there can’t possibly be any problems going forward. We can all sleep well at night knowing the government is right on top of things and ‘doing their best’ to protect us all from ourselves.

What does the future hold for Thailand and the world? Read the history books and you will find out. The new Thai COVID-19 lockdown protocol is now in full effect across 5 provinces. Be safe proles!
