Easily the best thing about the party here is the view; the pool is perched on the 10^th floor of the hotel in downtown Silom, affording panoramas across the adjacent Lumpini Park and the rest of the city.

With doors opening at 13:00 and the party lasting through until 21:00, there really is no better place in Bangkok for a daytime party – not to mention swimming! Organizers also provide food, top-notch cocktails and DJs, although the dancefloor only starts to fill up after sunset. For the rest of the time, you can spend it in the pool, by the side of the pool, or propping up Sofitel So’s well-stocked bar. Our suggestions to soak up all the alcohol are the juicy burgers, sandwiches and Thai-international crossover dishes. Not in Bangkok on the last Saturday of the month? Then you can still enjoy this allgreat hotel (and those views) from Park Society Bar, Sofitel So’s very own rooftop bar. In fact, thanks to the higher position, the views are even better than the poolside on the 10^th floor. The vibe here is rather sophisticated, with a longer food and drinks menu and music at a more conversation-friendly volume. This posh rooftop bar is open daily and free to get in.

You can reach So Sofitel easily from all areas of central Bangkok. It is walking distance from both BTS Sala Daeng and Silom MRT Station.
