Drake Spotify Stream Reaches 50 Billion
Drake became the first-ever artist to hit 50 billion streams on Spotify over the weekend. Even though the Canadian rapper/vocalist has three years between album releases. It only goes to show how popular he really is.

The figures have been collated by ChartData. Drake has a total of 12 records on the platform, most of which are full-length albums, while others are EP records. Drake’s debut EP, So Far Gone, was only put on Spotify in 2019 to celebrate the rapper’s 10-year anniversary in the music game. The bar-rising 50 billion streams have really set a new precedent for musical artists on Spotify to aim at.
Record-Breaking Drake Spotify Streams 2020
It’s been a stunning record-breaking year for Drake. He has literally had his best year ever! Not only was the Drake Spotify record for the first person to a collective of 50 billion streams, but he also broke records on the traditional charts. He is the biggest selling music artist at this moment in time.
In 2020, Drake broke a long-standing record for the most entries of all-time on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. He is the artist with the most top-10 hits, and also the first male artist to debut three tracks at number-1 on the same chart. It seems that the Canadian is really pulling out all the stops.
