Despite what we think of the whole situation between Russia and Ukraine, the governments of France and Germany acted to take a severe blow to Russian wealth and took two amazing Russian Superyachts, Dilbar and Amore Vero from Russian billionaires into their possession this week. Oleg Deripaska just took his ship to the Maldives.
Billionaires from that part of the world own a Russian superyacht globally and some of these Russian billionaires who own these boats are pretty close friends with the person they probably do not like that much anymore when they see their fortunes rapidly go up in steam.

Russian Superyacht on the Move
Alisher Usmanov is a shareholder in Arsenal football club among other lucrative businesses and enjoys being one of the wealthiest Russians in London. His estimated net worth is 15,1 billion. He owns “Dilbar“, a luxury yacht that ticks all the boxes for a boy looking for a luxury toy. The vessel has an estimated value of 660M US$. Unfortunately for him, the German authorities took his ship last Wednesday.
France Takes Amore Vero Russian Superyacht
The French couldn’t stay behind and announced that they loved having one on their own when they confiscated the second Russian superyacht. One day after the Germans took possession of Dilbar, the French told with French pride that they took one too in La Ciotat, a southern French city. The yacht they took carries not a French name but an Italian one; Amore Vero, which means True Love.
According to Marine Traffic, a maritime website, more Russians move their superyachts to safety. The Maldives is a preferred haven, including the yacht from Oleg Deripaska, chairman of the Russian aluminium firm Rusal.
