It is believed that Hollywood actor Orlando proposed to international pop-star Katy Perry after their intimate Valentine’s Day dinner. Katy has admitted they have often discussed engagement, but a proposal was a total surprise. Orlando planned a post-proposal party at a private penthouse in Los Angeles with a guest list made up of Katy’s closest friends.

His son Flynn Christopher is 8 years old. The news will abolish any split rumours that have been quite consistent following a temporary split back in 2018. The two are reported to be over the moon with their engagement and are already planning to grow their family with children.

Orlando Bloom proposed to Katy Perry with a large, vintage flower ring. Katy Perry is not known for subtle fashion, so a statement ring was the right way to go for any admirer seeking her hand in marriage. The ring is worth an estimated $400,000, with many Instagrammers joking that Bloom is definitely ‘Lord of the Rings’ following his appearance in the Peter Jackson movie trilogy. The proposal was preceded by Orlando’s traditional request to Perry’s Christian parents. It is reported her parents were already aware of Bloom’s plans as he had ensured their permission weeks earlier. Congratulations to the happy couple!
