We Love to Stay in Touch.
Kings Cup has announced the program for the thirty-second Kings Cup Regatta in 2018. The Kings Cup is the most sophisticated sailing event in Thailand and around Asia.
Upcoming Kings Cup Regatta in Phuket again
The Phuket Kings Cup Regatta is one of the most eagerly-awaited and most prestigious sporting events taking place in Phuket. Since its inception in 1987, the regatta has become one of the largest and most competitive sporting events in SE-Asia, attracting boats and crews from all over the world.
This year’s Phuket event will be an, even more, special affair than it usually is, and it is usually pretty monumental anyway. The event will take place at Kata Beach from the 1st to the 8th December 2018, and the best part of the regatta is all the parties and fun that surrounds the event every year.
Saturday 1 December 2018 will be for the registration and sail measurement. The practice race will be held the day after on Sunday 2 December from 1 PM onwards. The official opening party starts at 6 PM. Monday 3 until Saturday 8 December will be 3 days of racing with Thursday 6 December a reserve day. The winner of the thirty-second Kings Cup may take his price home on Sunday 8th December 2018 during a Royal Ceremony and closing party.
Kings Cup Regatta Early Registration Fees Apply
If you are a boat and crew and want to take part in the event, last year’s entry fee was 30,000 per crew for early-bird entrance if you book your place in the Regatta before 1 November 17:00 pm, otherwise you had to pay 35,000 so make sure you are a part of this exciting Phuket sailing event. We couldn’t receive price confirmation for this year’s fee.
