Each March, Pattaya Music Festival is an eagerly watched Thailand music festival. Pattaya congregates music lovers from all over the world to hit the beaches and enjoy a vast range of musical performances. From dance, reggae, drum & bass and R&B, the festival is eclectic, diverse and unites all attendees with a shared merely passion for music and having a good time.
Pattaya Music Festival – Music Lovers All Together in Pattaya
The Pattaya Music festival kicked off back in 2002 and now enjoyed an international title of one of the largest music festivals in the world! Usually taking place in March, the festival offers an unbeatable beach backdrop on the stunning shores of Pattaya. The 3-day mega music fest kicks off at sunset and stages can be found running alongside the sandy Chonburi road beaches and partner venues on the approach to Pattaya town. The party can be relied upon to go hard until the early hours of the morning, with some hardcore festival-goers ending the sunset start with a sunrise end – famous sights at the Pattaya Music Festival.
Pattaya Music Festival – United Through Music
There are no set genres here, and musical diversity is key to the festival’s success. Expect musicians are bringing their own take on genres such as hip-hop, dance, reggae and jazz and an amalgamation of genre-bending that pushes the boundaries and brings the crowds back hungry for more every single year. Previous shows has seen Nightwalker’s, Bodyslam among other great talents.
Entry to the festival is usually free and annually attracts over 100,000 music lovers from all over the World. The Pattaya Music Festival period brings with it a celebration of talent and all things music with CDs, fanzines and instrument sellers putting up stalls at the festival. Networking opportunities for talent are fierce with production companies and record labels setting up opportunities for talent mingling and future collaborations.
2019 dates have just been confirmed with headliners and performers yet to be announced. If last year is anything to go by, we are definitely in for a winner. See you there!
