Norwegian DJ and Record producer Kygo will come to Thailand for the first time on 22 October. The DJ will perform at Live Park, Rama 9.
Kygo brings Tropical House to Bangkok.
Kyrre Garvell-Dahll or Kygo is a respected DJ who has popularised the tropical house music genre. Kygo is originally from Bergen, Norway before stepping into the spotlights of fame. He is probably best known for the remix of Ed Sheeran “I see Fire”, which gave him the best stepping stone to bootstrap his career. The remix was played roughly around 55 million times on Soundcloud alone. The song also earned about 500 million views on YouTube. Add on 560 million times on Spotify.
Kygo’s song “ID” was featured in the official Ultra Music Festival trailer. Other songs he released are “Stole the Show”, “Here For You”, “Stay”, “Remind me to Forget“, and “It Ain’t Me.”
The Rio Olympic in Brazil in 2016 accelerated his DJ career in light speed. Kygo was the first house producer whom he has ever performed at an Olympic closing ceremony.
Billboard named him as their number 3 of dance musicians in their Billboard Dance 100 list.
Kygo Hits That Let You Sudder
Kygo has played worldwide at the largest music festivals that you maybe only can dream about, including Lollapalooza in the United States. He has released the U2 song “You’re the best thing about me”. He has performed with Selena Gomez on the single “It Ain’t Me”. He recently announced a collaboration with the American Rock band; American Dragons for their single “Born to Be Yours”.
The concert will be part of his “Kids in Love” Tour. Tickets go on sale at Thaiticketmajor.com and cost THB. 2,500/3,500/5,000 (VIP). The tour supports the Sophomore album. The start time of the performance has not been announced yet.
