The Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023 is one of the most rigorous and epic dates in the Phuket events calendar. This famous Phuket sporting run event has been taking place on the island for many years. The 2023 edition of the Phuket event is the 29th annual triathlon, which is why the event has such a fantastic reputation across the Asian continent. The race will make a comeback on Sunday, 19 November 2023. The Event starts at Laguna Phuket resort and promises to be a spectacular Phuket event once again.
Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023 Event Race Details
The Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023 event is one of the premier triathlons in Asia and attracts contestants worldwide. The race will combine a 1.8km swim with a 50km bike race and then culminate in a 12km run. The spirit distances for the three stages are 0.5km for the swim, 20km for the bike race and 6km for the run. This year’s event will also feature a Laguna Phuket Duathlon that will combine a 4km swim, a 50km bike ride and a 12km run. The Duathlon will occur on the same day as the leading triathlon event.
Laguna Phuket Triathlon – Charity Fun Run
The Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023 will also include a ‘Charity Fun Run’ once again that will be used to raise funds that will help local communities and charities for a good cause. This will also include distances for junior competitors with a 5km swim, a 10km bike ride, and a 2km run. The charity fun run will take place on 19 November 2023 in the late afternoon. Because so many people participate in the event, both in a spectator and competitor sense. This charity run is the best way to support the island and its local businesses.

The Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023 is ranked as the 8th Best Triathlon in the world by The World’s Greatest Tri Swims by 220 Triathlon Magazine (UK) and ranked 5th on the 10 Best Triathlons in the World list by Let’s Do This (UK). If you are a triathlete who wants to participate in the event, we suggest contacting the official event sponsors to see if you are eligible to partake. If you want to cheer on the competitors, you’re free to be a spectator, so no worries.
