Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023

The Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023 is one of the year’s most famous and popular Phuket sporting events. The event will take place at the Laguna Phuket Resort on 10 and 11 June 2023. This is one of the leading marathons in SE Asia and always attracts competitors from many different countries. Whether you compete in the event or want to come to cheer along with the runners, it promises to be one of the most eagerly-awaited Phuket events in 2023.

Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023 Details

This is the 16th annual edition of the event and would attract over 15,000 competitors from across 50 countries worldwide. From 2 to 70 years old, there is an event category for everyone at the Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023. There are many different race types and classes as follows: 2km run for kids, and 5km and 10km runs, which will all take place on Saturday, 10 June 2023. The half-marathon (21km), the Marathon Run (42km) and the Marathon Relay (42km) will take place on Sunday, 11 June 2023. As we said, there is a race type for people of all ages and abilities.

World-Class Phuket Marathon

The Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023 is the largest mass participation event on the island this year. The event not only takes Phuket’s sports and tourism image to the next level but also has become a real player on the Asia marathon scene and qualifies for the prestigious Boston Marathon. The event will be timed by Sportstats Asia and is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). It is an actual professional-level event presided over by some of the biggest marathon governing bodies in the world.

Laguna Marathon Entrance Prices

Do you want to enter the event as a runner? If so, it’s important to remember that the deadline date for registration is 5 December 2022. Entrance fees for the 2km kids’ run are 550 THB per person. The entrance fee for the 5km and 10,5km runs are 900 THB, and 5 kilometre is 800 per person, respectively. The entry fee for the half-marathon is 1,300 THB per person.

In comparison, the price for the leading marathon is 1,600 THB per person. The relay marathon prices will cost 3,700 THB. You will need to register for the Laguna Phuket Marathon 2023 within the deadline limit, or you will miss the chance to partake in this prestigious marathon event. Onsite prices will be higher.
