Lany ‘s Dreamy R&B Infused Indie Pop

Lany is a trio hailing from Los Angeles in the United States. They have won over crowds and an army of fans thanks to their glittery and beachy indie loaded with R&B spirit. Their signature sound was first founded on early EPs, leading to the release of their highly acclaimed debut album in 2017. Formed in Nashville in 2014 by three friends, all three members of the band studied music in college and are all talented multi-instrumentalists. The band’s name pays homage to Los Angeles and New York and marks their goal of spreading their musical offerings from coast to coast. Their sound combines elements of indie pop, 80’s radio hits, perfectly finished off with atmospheric synth work and 90’s soul.

Billboard Top Rock Albums 2017

The Los Angeles Times praised their latest release ‘Malibu Nights’ and cited the album as “a sleek and tender document of a thoroughly modern band hitting all the right references for 2018.” in an album review. The released follows the band’s 2017 self-titled release, which enjoyed tied position for the highest charting debut album on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart back in 2017. The album’s leading single “Thru These Tears,” received substantial critical acclaim and led to TIME Magazine naming the track one of the “5 Songs You Need to Listen to This Week.”

Lany ‘s Return to Thailand

Following the instant sell out of their initial tour date for the LANY Malibu Nights World Tour in Bangkok, promoters were able to gain a second and final show on the 29 July 2019 at the same venue. The concert was not a pre-planned date, scheduled merely by popular demand. The Malibu Nights live in Bangkok tour date will be the band’s third visit to Thailand, performing in the capital for three consecutive years.
