150,000 Covid-19 Vaccines Coming to Thailand Instead of EU

It’s being reported across the Asian media that Thailand will be receiving 150,000 COVID-19 vaccines that should’ve been going to Europe. The vaccines were originally supposed to be shipped to Italy, but now Thailand will, fortunately, be the recipient of the delivery instead.

In terms of nations obtaining COVID-19 Vaccines, it’s like watching countries compete to get to the moon first. It’s quite amusing. And Big Pharma must be licking their lips in anticipation of the profits.

Thailand COVID-19 Vaccine ready to go

We can expect some deliveries of the COVID-19 Vaccines soon in Thailand

COVID-19 Vaccines Coming in March/April

The Bangkok Post is reporting that AstraZeneca, the British/Swedish pharmaceutical company will be shipping 150,000 doses of the vaccine to Thailand that was originally planned for Italy. The delivery is coming from one of the company’s Asian factories and is geared to ‘ensure no delivery delays’ for COVID-19 vaccines.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Thailand Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul. He said that the change in delivery is because the EU is now temporarily suspending vaccine imports from the continent. So is it about delays or because the EU doesn’t want them? News in this day and age is confusing and completely contradicting in most cases. As my dad once said, “Don’t believe anything you read and only half of what you see.” And let’s be honest, governments, multinational pharmaceutical companies, and the media are hardly the last bastion of truth.

The options for COVID-19 vaccines across Asia is quite good at the moment, especially compared to the EU

Mr. Anutin also talked about the permits and licenses that are now needed to import COVID-19 Vaccines. And that the government will need to approve those permits to receive the vaccines. But it’s great news we are getting them from Asia instead of Europe. So the Public Health Minister thinks.

Fortunately, the Bangkok Post is reporting that 50,000 vaccines are already on their way. However, these 150,000 vaccine doses won’t reach Thailand until March or April. The public Health Minister also mentioned that it doesn’t really matter if we get these vaccines or not when he said, “Anyway, even if we don’t get it, it won’t have an impact on our plan to give 26 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Thais in June.”

But Does it All Really Matter?

With a global survival rate between 99.97% and 99.98% it makes you wonder what is really going on here? We live in a time where it’s hard to believe anything anyone says. Especially when it comes from gargantuan profit-making machines like pharmaceutical companies. Multinational companies such as these are all about profits. It’s that simple folk, and if you don’t already know that, then you are an ideal candidate for their words.

Is it a good thing to vaccinate the world for something with such a high survival rate? Common sense says no, but common sense is not running the sales of these COVID-19 vaccines, capitalism, and profit-making machines with the help of massive media organizations are. But everyone has a choice…
