You can make the best of the festive season by watching the best movies about Christmas on Netflix Thailand. Getting in the festive fun is great. It’s all about fun, food, family and films.
Are you bored with the normal Christmas movies such as Scrooge, The Grinch, Snowman, and so forth? How about something a bit different? Here are the best Christmas movies that aren’t actually about Christmas on Netflix Thailand.
1 – Home Alone 1 & 2
The first two Home Alone movies were both set in and around Christmas and have a Christmas vibe without actually being about Christmas! If that make any sense? Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, is left home alone in two consecutive years by his family and has to fend for himself during the festive period. The films are rip-roaringly funny and full of madcap adventure. And even though the films are not a celebration of the festive season, you can feel Christmas right through the heart of the movie. Are you looking for a great Christmas on Netflix Thailand? If so, start with these two!
2 – Gremlins – Christmas on Netflix Thailand
Again, Gremlins is set over the Christmas period but is not about Christmas. Gremlins are one of the most popular family movies of all time. And it’s a great film to watch with your kids on Christmas Day. Just make sure you do not feed them after midnight! I am talking about the Gremlins, not your kids!
3 – Trading Places
One of the most fun Christmas movies when I was a kid that was not about Christmas, was Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. The film is lots of fun, set over the Christmas break, and follows a sick and twisted bet to turn a rich man into a pool man and vice versa. I always loved watching this movie at Christmas. 4. Die Hard – Christmas on Netflix Thailand
Is Bruce Willis’ action movie adventure ‘Die Hard’ a Christmas movie? Not at all. But again, it’s set at Christmas and was always a Christmas fave in our house. You can’t beat watching Bruce Willis blow things up and get in trouble on Christmas Day. It’s a tradition in our house!
5 – The Long Kiss Goodnight
Samuel L. Jackson for Christmas? Why not! Who doesn’t want to see Sammy and Gina Davis getting in trouble and strife in a full-on action movie set at Christmas? It is great. And once again, it makes you think about the festive period but is not about Christmas.
