One of the most exciting parts of the festival is the parade of flower floats. The parade usually starts at around Narawatt bridge. The police actually close moos tog Jarenmuang Road around at around 8 am for the parade. This event is one of the most popular Thailand festivals in the Chiang Mai events calendar. The city is also awash with many colourful people. However, it is sometimes in Thai referred to as the “Rose of the North”, and as the colours of the flowers merge with the colourful people, it makes Chiang Mai the most stunning place to be.
