We Love to Stay in Touch.
The Chiang Mai art scene really is a hive of activity, and outside the capital city, is the largest region in the nation for art-lovers. Taking place at the Maiam Contemporary Art Museum, also known as ‘Maiiam’ from 30 March 2019 to February 10 2020, come along to enjoy the ‘Pilar Albarracin’ exhibition by the equally-named artist, Pilar Albarracin.
Pilar’s Chiang Mai Exhibition
The exhibition will be 12-months long, giving you lots of opportunities to enjoy this Thailand Exhibition that examine a different way of life than the one we lead, one that liberates people in search for inner peace.
A Seville born artist working between Seville and Madrid, Albarracin is presenting her first-time exhibition in Asia. Her work is an artful mixture of flamenco, theatre processions and polka-dotted garments. Expressing gender-based relations overshadowed with national politics that places multiple layers of expression of her persona.

Albarracin shines the local cultures, often tainted with the political ambitions that she distorts what was once manipulated.
This is just yet another example of why we really love the Chiang Mai art scene.
