Although Ban Amphur is more the quieter place of the two, it is still a very nice place to visit and home to a few cool beaches. You will find the stylish Ocean Yacht Marina in Ban Amphur and the beautiful and popular Ban Amphur Beach nearby. As with any beaches along the Gulf to the east of Pattaya, they are much cleaner and quieter than in the city.

Ban Amphur is also home to one of the best golf courses in the Pattaya region – Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club. This is perhaps the third-best golf club in the region after Siam Country Club and Laem Chabang.
