Phuket Nightlife @ Bangla Road Patong
If you are coming to Phuket for an exciting action-filled holiday that is dominated by partying and excesses, the most highly-concentrated area of the island for bars, beers, and nightlife pleasures is Bangla Road in Phuket. To be fair, even if you are not here partying, a trip to Bangla Road is a must, just to soak up the atmosphere and to enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the street’s top international restaurants. There is a cacophony of nightlife options on Bangla Road, which is home to Patong’s most popular discos and nightclubs such as Hollywood Disco, Seduction and Tai Pan. The road is closed down to cars and bikes at night and becomes pedestrianized. With girlie bar complexes such as Tiger, you can easily get lost on a night out in Bangla Road and wake up on another continent. It’s that sort of place!
Location: Bangla Road is located in the heart of Patong between Beach Road and Ratuthit Road.

Phuket Big Buddha Monument – Attractions in Phuket
When it comes to spectacular attractions in Phuket, and in Thailand in general, not many can hold a candle to the jaw-dropping Big Buddha Monument/Temple. Sat majestically at the summit of Nakkerd Hills looking out across Chalong, to the east, Karon and Kata to the west and Rawai to the south, this is one of the most awe-inspiring and spiritual places in Thailand. The Big Buddha monument is 45-meters tall and completely dominates the Southern parts of Phuket Island.
Costing over 30 million THB to construct, the monument is extremely impressive and almost intimidating by its size, especially sat next to other smaller golden Buddha images that are large in their own rights. At the summit, you will find many Buddha images, shops, a temple, amazing viewpoints with mesmerizing views across Southern Phuket and beyond across the Andaman Ocean. If you just had one place to visit on the island during your holiday, we would suggest that you make the sacred pilgrimage to the Big Buddha Monument in Chalong.
Location: Situated in Chalong on Nakkerd Hills, which is opposite from Wat Chalong. You can reach Chalong in a 10-minute drive from Karon and a 25-minute drive from Patong. But do remember that it takes about 10-minutes just to drive up Nakkerd Hills alone.
