We are all eagerly-anticipating Better Call Saul season 6. It’s been a long time coming and already over a year since season 5 was released. And though COVID-19 has affected many filming plans in 2020, it seems that season 6 is nearly completed.
When fans found out that Better Call Saul season 6 was to be the last ever, they were not very happy. But as the old adage says, “all good things must come to an end.” It’s better to leave the audience wanting more. And that is what is probably going to happen.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Better Call Saul co-creator, Peter Gould, talked about some of the challenges that the crew has faced during these trying times. The COVID-19 pandemic has pretty much halted the movie industry, and we are sure that TV series are suffering the same fate.
When talking to Deadline, Gould talked about how the team is working tirelessly to bring us Better Call Saul season 6 and are currently in the final stages of production. Gould told Deadline that:
“We’re pretty late in the season. We are in a Zoom room every day. “We got to meet for two weeks at the beginning. For the season – it’s like trying to dance in quicksand. It’s a handicap in my book to be working remotely, but I love what we came up with.”

Better Call Saul Season 6 Coming Soon
One of the most interesting statements from Gould that I was intrigued by as an avid Better Call Saul fan is that there might be more than just 10 episodes in the finale. And that would be great news.
Gould told Deadline that “We have a few more scripts than we usually do.”
Rumors have been flying around for a while that Better Call Saul season 6 would have 13 one-episodes instead of 10. It sounds like that might be true. However, with the rich tapestry of character development in the show, it seems a shame to stop now. There are another 2 or 3 seasons in this series if you ask me.
When Will Series 6 be Released?
At this moment in time, we can only surmise about the launch date of season 6. But all the news and indicators are positive. It would make sense if we see the release of the final season in the first quarter of 2022. But who really knows?
One thing we do know. Better Call Saul season 6 will finally show the moment where Jimmy becomes Saul. And it will be interesting to see how the latter version of Saul fares. But we will all have to hold our collective breaths until then!
