Foals Play Live in Bangkok. The Oxford-based indie rockers are FINALLY making their way to Thailand.
Singha Corporation and local promoters VijiCorp are continuing to keep the international concert list in Bangkok 2019 growing! They have announced that UK indie/alt rock band FOALS will play live in Bangkok this August. This concert will be the band’s Bangkok live debut. The group will be performing at Moonstar Studio.
Foals, One of The Most Popular Live Acts in the UK
Foals started as a house party band during their University days in Oxford England. The group have elevated their success and become one of the significant festival headliners in the whole of Europe. The band members are regular nominees and winners on the international awards circuit, already receiving notable acclaim from NME, Mercury Prize, Ivor Novello and the highly prestigious BRIT Awards. Made up of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Smith, and keyboardist Edwin Congreave, the band only seem to be riding the waves of stardom higher and higher, and we can’t wait to have them in Thailand!
Explorative, Progressive and Experimental Indie Masters
The band have a ten-year stable career behind them, yet still embrace unconventional methods that have so far, earned them an army of fans. Foals are the name for experimental projects, and their latest studio offering doesn’t stray from the method or disappoint. The band have just completed and released a double album, ranging in subject matter and musical mastery, with both parts 1 and 2 issued under the ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ title. This album has been regarded as the bands boldest release yet and is bursting with the experimental creativity for which the group are known and respected. The band defy the standard pop structure, and their 20-track album is an incredibly exciting, audible adventure.
